I had quite a few various sized yardstick pieces leftover from some of my yardstick projects so I thought I would put them to use as Christmas ornaments.
A few Scrabble tiles, some plastic snowflakes, a little glitter and some ribbon and the unused yardstick pieces are now ornaments for the tree.
And before I sign off I want to wish a big Happy 50th Birthday to my little sister Peggy!
Wish I could be there to help you celebrate!
Enjoy your Sunday!
Jane

Of course I love them!

ReplyDeleteJane, you have some fantastic ideas Girl! Really thinking outside the box! I found some old wooden yardsticks the other day, but they wanted $20.00 each for the two. I passed them by, too rich for my blood. Hope to find something cheaper so I can make some ornaments, etc. I'm glad that I found your blog through Faded Charm, Marilyn

These are adorable! I've been working on a layout for a Scrabble table and expect to have extra tiles, and just today cut and glued the yardsticks for the yardstick tray I've been wanting to make (inspired by yours, of course). So your timing is perfect. I now have yardstick scraps! Thanks as always for sharing your great ideas.
